Amazing dancing plant that moves with sound or music!

Darwin’s hypothesis to think of the root as the intelligent end of a plant from his book ‘the power of movement in plants’

Its all in the roots

The root cap

Is the tip that navigates through the soil

Meristem

Plants have a brain

Transition zone according to Balusko & Mancuso this is the nerve centre of the plant

Plants can move

Elongation zone directionally grows lengthens and bends

Plants are aware

They are aware of their environment

Plants can smell

They grow towards the source of food

Plants can feel the sun

They are aware of the direction that the source of light is coming from

They are sensitive to their environment and adapt

They can be seen to be leaning into the wind

Plants are like animals

The transition zone of the plant is the nerve centre

It is electrically active
It contains a hormone called auxin
It consumes oxygen
It produces chemicals that in animals act as hormones and transmitters

Plants have memory

News for 1963 macedonia earthquake

People from across the former Yugoslavia have gathered in Macedonia's capital to mark the 50th anniversary of an earthquake that killed more than 1,000 people and destroyed much of the city.

The magnitude 6.1 quake on July 26, 1963, also left more than 4,000 people injured and destroyed or seriously damaged 80 percent of the buildings in Skopje — prompting a major international relief effort support by some 90 countries.

Several hundred people, including survivors and veterans of the rescue effort, marched silently through the city. Tents were set up in the city's main park, the scene of the main aid effort in 1963.

A fault line lies under the Macedonian capital, and earthquakes in 518 and 1555 also leveled the city.

Macedonia declared independence from Yugoslavia in 1991.
